Adding a Touch of Glitter

You can add a little fun to your graphics from any of the available websites.  Don't forget that you can center any graphics that you might use as a post banner.

Centering Images in Posts

Centering an image in a post is not a difficult procedure.  Insert the image as usual.  After you browse to your image, click custom settingsUncheck the "Wrap Text" option.

Complete the process.  Once the image is uploaded, click the Edit HTML tab.  Paste the code below at the beginning of the image code.

Using iPhoto and Picasa to Display Slideshows

It is simple and easy to use the Picasa uploader in iPhoto to display slideshows on your blog.

Adding Animated Images

Ag00181_Animated images can be a fun way to add excitement to your blog.  When you find an animated image that you want to use, save it to a place you can easily find.  I would suggest My Documents > My Pictures on the PC side and Documents > Pictures on the Mac side.

Follow the steps below. Make sure that the cursor is where you want the image to be inserted.

  1. On the typepad toolbar, click the Insert Image button.
  2. Browse to your image. (1)
  3. Click Custom Settings. (2)
  4. Uncheck both the "Create Thumbnail" and "Popup Window."
  5. Click the Insert Image button at the bottom of the Insert Image window.
